Evelyn Lopez

Evelyn Lopez joined Foster-Morales PLLC in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Lopez spent four years as a litigation and trial attorney at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. During that time, Ms. Lopez handled hundreds of cases; leading countless of them from arrest all the way through trial. She has gained extensive legal experience representing individuals charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanors up to serious life felonies.
Ms. Lopez attended Florida International University where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Criminal Justice. She then attended Florida International University College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor. While in law school, Ms. Lopez was a member of the school’s trial team and spent her summers interning and volunteering at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Lopez also participated in the school’s study abroad program where she spent a summer studying law in Sevilla, Spain at La Universidad de Sevilla.
Ms. Lopez is admitted to the Florida bar.
Ms. Lopez is fluent in Spanish.
